The hotel is located about half a mile from I-5 in Tumwater.
Seattle airport is one hour or 55 miles away. Portland, OR is about 110 miles or 1hr 45 min drive.
Its a great place to break up a drive in the middle of Washington for a night coming from Oregon or north Washington state.
Within the area are various stores like Fred Meyer, Walmart and lots with fast food places everywhere, KFC is walking distance. Great mexican restaurant nearby.
The spacious room had a raised high soft king size bed.
The bed is comfy with mattress topper but didn't much like the pillows.
There are bed side tables with lamps but power sockets are behind the cabinets. However an alarm clock does have a USB socket behind it on one side.
The bed faces a large cabinet that has a large TV with full cable, microwave and large refrigerator.
There is a working desk with lamp are here are plenty of sockets. There is also a sofa and coffee table, great for eating take-aways and watching TV.
The room also includes a large sink that also has hot drinks machines on top. This is the main sink form the bathroom.
Since the bathroom is in a small room containing only the toilet and a bath and shower combo. They offer small amenity bottles of their in house brand.
An iron and ironing board is also on offer with some clothes hangers. Heating / AC is a large unit but wasn't that noisy. Decor is kind of dull but traditional.
The hotel offers decent speed WIFI. Also two computer are in the lobby.
There is breakfast on offer is better than most motel quite decent and includes some scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, plenty of breads and bagels, cereals, yogurts and fruits. Plus a pancake machine, juice dispensers and coffee machine. Its as nice and the room plays the news. They also offer cookies and coffee in reception.
For leisure facilities there is a small gym and adjoining room with hot tub.
Plenty of free parking is offered.
Staff were nice and friendly with quick check-in/out. Breakfast lady was overly enthusiastic and happy.
It was fine for one night, comfortable and very clean. Not quite Hampton Suites but a decent product that was good value for money.

Sheltered Hook is in bay city right on Oregon coast about 77 miles west of Portland, thru the stunning Tillamook forest.
Small coastal town within a bay with fresh sea air.
The famous Cannon Beach is only about 30 minutes drive up the coast. The small town of Bay city has a handful of restaurants and bars. 101 route north is one of the most picturesque coastal roads in the world and runs thru here.
Wanted to experience the popular Oregon concept of a tiny house for one night. They have some in Portland but double the price and heard the Oregon coast is better place to go. The tiny cabins at Sheltered Nook is so cosy & functional. Far better than staying in any hotel & far cheaper.
As you enter the home, there is a small veranda that accommodates a decent gas barbecue & two outside seating for eating. It is covered and cosy at night for smokers displaying the lighted coloured bulbs at each house.
Inside is initially an open plan kitchen & living room with small stair case leading to two double beds upstairs. Very low ceiling but does have some cosy windows behind your pillow. There are plenty of sockets & lights.
The living room has a sofa & arm chair with a nice warm soft blanket. It that faces this really nice visual fireplace heater, creating a mellow ambience.
TV is cable with plenty of channels, DVD player is also offered with plenty of DVD’s on offer for free to rent at reception. There is also a table to pull out when dining for 2.
The full stocked kitchen offers an oven, microwave, huge fridge & a decent coffee pod machine, with creamers, milks and was really nice. Also a kettle for tea lovers.
Inside the refrigerator they include a breakfast basket containing an apple, homemade egg bake to heat up, yogurt & a pastry. Quite tasty and generous of them given the rate they charge.
The main bed room is at the back & has a super comfy bed thanks to premium mattress topper & decent quality bedding. Flexi-reading lights, sockets & bedside table either side. Overhead fan & electric heaters that worked well. It is quite a small room that the large kind size bed take up most of it.
Bathroom has a shower that worked well and they offer small bottle shampoo & body lotions with plenty of towels.
It’s all in wooden decor & really has all the amenities that one would expect at your own home.
Loved it very much and would certainly come back. Especially enjoyed relaxing at night watching the digital fire place. It is also secure with a peronsalised pin code access to each home.
They offer free parking & have a super fast free WiFi. Each box is within each home.
The reception as mentioned has DVD's and some other drink items available.
Staff couldn’t be more welcoming with personal explanation of home & area. They were really helpful.
Overall a very nice concept & very reasonably priced for what you get.

The hotel is located in the area of Yongsan, not far from the centre of Seoul.
It is two stops by train to Seoul main train station.
For Incheon airport it takes by taxi around 1.5hours, but they do offer a bus service outside hotel that costs around 12k Won & takes same time.
This hotel is located alongside many others such as Mercure and Novotel inside the Seoul Dragon City- a sort of small mall of which is on level 2 of the hotel. Brand new complex. Within walking distance is the Electronic centre of Seoul, told it was the cheapest place to buy everything electrical. There is also shops & restaurants in the vicinity.
The room was fun - themed with the retro game Space invader as shown the back wall. Very colourful energising decor and brand new and spotless since hotel only opened on October 1st this year. It is quite a small room in terms of Asian standards but not poky like Japan.
A very comfortable bed with a nice soft mattres topper and premium bedding. Slept very well. Conveniently either side are touch button light controls on small bed side tables with the bed frame offering in built flexi-reading lamps. USB sockets and international plugs are also both sides.
Facing the bed is a large SamsungTV with over 40 DTV channels, these include mostly news, sport, kids and drama from Korea but international TV from Russia, Germany, Japan, Middle east and China. There are some English language TV such as Euro news, Fox & some US movie channels.
There is a small working desk and lamp- plenty of plugs, a small coffee table and stool.
The bathroom is somewhat open plan but with frosted glass cubicles for the shower and toilet. The wash-let toilet is high tech. Shower works well with rain and detachable head. Full set of amenities that includes generous tubes from Derma centric spa, plus dental kits etc. The sink is on a unit within room with plenty of mirrors that had a kettle and plenty of sachets on top. Below is a laptop size safe, a mini fridge with two complimentary bottles of water offered.
There is also a tall wardrobe, behind a mirror so quite hidden but there are robes & slippers offered.
Digital AC worked well and the room offered a fantastic view of the city landscape of Seoul.
Overall a very nice room and most certainly the best IBIS product I have seen in the world.
The hotel offers no password fast WIFI that worked very well for multiple devices.
There is a large dining room with an extensive buffet for breakfast. I must say I was very impressed with the standard of food, a lot of offer both hot and cold, Asian and Western with the quality of food being very of a high standard and far better breakfast than hotel's I have stayed at in neighbouring China or Japan.
There is also a very colourful bar in the lobby.
As mentioned the second floor is a mini sort of mall with clothing shops, hair dressers, pharmacies and other vendors.
There is a gym in which has really only cardio equipment, its seems not complete as in a large room but mostly empty but still plenty of cardio machines on offer.
The hotel also offers the standard Korean Sauna with hot and cold baths. Very clean and nice. Separate sauna rooms for men and women.
The staff are approachable and nice, the reception lady was exceptional helpful with directions for Lotte tower. Check-in and Check out was also smooth. The standard of service was very good.
The hotel is very new, very clean and fun- more family than luxury but it is by far the best Ibis hotel I have ever stayed at. Nice room, very high standard of breakfast and pleasant staff, will certainly return again if I return to Seoul.

Eveleos Country House is located in the countryside. In a picturesque old village with some nice views over the countryside.
Limassol city itself is about 25 min drive.
Closest beach called Governor is about 10minutes drive. It’s an ok beach, grey sand and power station close by but clear sea.
However Ayia Napa area is better (white sand, nicer beaches and landscape) and that is about 1 hour drive.
The local airport of Larnaca is about 30 minutes drive away. It’s really a location where a car is essential. The village does have a taverna but didn’t visit. Small old kind of Greek village, looks picturesque but little of anything after about half an hour walk around it.
The room has some very good points but also major weaknesses.
The family villa is a self catering with a kitchen & living room set up with a separate bedroom & bathroom.
The living room has a real authentic Cyprus character about it, wooden furnishings and ceiling with stone kitchen unit etc and it is quite cosy.
Clean & decent electric stove, oven with pans & plenty of plates, kitchen & tableware. There is a kettle & coffee brewer but no filters offered or unsure how to use it since there is no explanation how to use anything in this hotel.
However they kindly provide a loaf of bread, some small butters in the fridge, eggs & bottle of water. This is what your breakfast is.
A nice wooden table for two to eat from, small simple sofa (can be folded out into a bed) & coffee table.
The decor is nice with an old rural feel. They even provide candles, mosquito plugs, some books & playing cards in the drawers.
The TV however is old & has a separate satellite unit - after an hour of trying to understand how to use it, I gave up. Since no details of how to use the remotes is offered. Shame as I like to check out local TV but actually I think from talking to other guests, its just decoration and has no use. They all had same issue.
The bedroom is quite nice with a four poster firm bed but the bedding is disappointing with scratchy un-soft sheets. Lamps and plug sockets close by. Plus a desk & old nice wardrobe with a small safe. AC unit is offered in both rooms.
The bathroom is a combined bath & shower but water was not that hot.
Bring Your Own amenities since they offer nothing to shower with, only soap dispenser for hands which was not nice to shower with and at the price I didn’t expect to bring any body soap. I mean even cheap old rubbish ibis hotels in Europe offers shower gel dispenser in addition to hand soap but not here.
Whilst the room essentially looks great, cleanliness is an issue. Whilst I never have noticed cob webs in any of the 200+ places I have stayed at, this room was very noticeable. Cob webs in every corner and ceiling noticeable when your showering or at the desk. I have arachnophobia so didn't sleep well. Plus plenty of insects in room & generally didn't give a great impression.
For the price paid, given that it’s not at the beach and eighty pounds a night, I think they could be a little more effort to cleanliness & include at least a soap for showering!
WiFi was good & worked well.
There is a nice infinity pool which was busy during day & on my visit was two older men in thongs - not a pleasant sight!
Obviously car parking is offered & the bread and eggs is in your room is basically the breakfast offering.
Following so many reviews from 1-5 star accommodations, this is the first place where there is no staff. When I arrived a neighbour pointed out the letters on the door with guest names. This explains WiFi password but lacking in detail as to where the room is. Ended up walking around the building asking other hotel guests since directions confused me. I would suggest a map! They do offer a number to call though.
However during whole stay arriving and leaving at lunchtime there was no staff presence at all.
Overall the room has an authentic character & choose it based on reviews but disappointed because basically no tv works, room is full of cobwebs, Scratchy bedding & no decent soap to shower with, plus no staff to talk to.
Perhaps I am being too picky but still at the rate they charge, one can get a hotel by the beach etc .. whereby you wouldn’t need to hire a car!

The hotel is located in Anacortes. Stayed here to be half way to Vancouver airport (2hour drive) from Olympic National park.
Seattle is about 1.5 hours south and Everett about an hour. Noticed some shops, bar and fast food places less than 10 minutes walk away. The hotel is on a side road in a quiet residential area. Its in a scenic area with the coast close by.
The room was very cosy and comfortable. Can be described as more or less like or better than a Hamptons inn or similar standard of brand but with a sort of warm cosy comfortable & boutique feel.
The bed was exceptionally comfortable especially the premium soft bedding & high quality mattress topper, better than some five stars I have stayed at.
Either side is a bed side table with lamp that has helpful power sockets on it, plus a telephone and a clock radio.
Facing bed is a flat screen TV with full cable channels. Below is a microwave & to the side an AC unit. A Large desk is offered, convenient to work on a laptop from and also has a large mirror for those that need this. There is also a wardrobe with handy ironing board and iron.
Next to desk is a large fridge and above is some small hot drink facilities. There is also a comfy modern arm chair and stool. Great for watching TV & better chair than you find in a lot of hotels these days.
Bathroom was of decent size with a large oval (could fit two) bath combined with a shower. The hotel offers a full set of amenities and decent towels.
Overall the room was exceptionally comfortable, the management clearly make a lot effort in the quality and detail for their guests.
The hotel offers fast WIFI and worked fine.
Breakfast is included and they offer bagels, muffins, a pancake machine, fruits, yogurts and spreads. It tasted nice and fresh but simple. They also offer a vending machine for snacks and drinks.
Public computer is offered for those without a personal machine. Parking is also free and if your lucky you can park outside your room, otherwise less than a minute walk.
Lady at check-in was very kind when I called her to confirm I wont be able to make the 9pm check-in closing time as described by an popular hotel booking website that I booked with. She actually is there until 10pm and I fortunately made it but otherwise she mentioned arrangements can be made via a secure key pick up system.
Overall the room is very comfortable and slept well, cannot fault anything wrong with it. If I find myself in Anacortes again, I will surely choose this hotel as it is reasonably priced for the quality of comfort you get.

Van Ripers resort motel is in the idyllic fishing village of Sekiu. Located just beyond Olympic national park of which is 30 minutes drive away to the edge of it.
Unless your fishing one of the few reasons to be here is if you are enroute to Cape Flattery - amazing spot (45 min drive) of which is the most northern western point in mainland USA.
About 1.5hr drive away is Ruby beach, also stunning.
Port Angeles, the closest main town with ferry service to Canada is about 1hr 15 drive & Seattle is around 4 hours.
There is a diner in the village but not much else except relaxing scenic view of the coast and Vancouver Island. Chilled spot & from the room you can hear the seagulls & enjoy fresh sea air.
The motel room consisted of two rooms, a simple bedroom with quite a firm smallish queen bed along with one bedside table, lamp & a random chair.
Facing bed is a non-flat screen cable TV on wall. The bed was ok but bedding was felt old along with everything else, however it was clean, slept ok but wouldn’t describe the bed as initially comfortable.
The other room is a kitchen area with a table for 2. An old style electric oven with utensils and tableware. In addition a microwave, filter coffee pot, a fridge & two sinks - one for kitchen & other to use for bathroom.
Bathroom was tiny with simple shower cubicle & toilet. They offer just a small soap. However water was hot and worked well.
Since you are in the middle of nowhere & mainly for fishermen who have their boat here, it’s ideal for self catering.
Despite the age & lack of amenities in bathroom, the room had a great ambience & character with a somewhat Twin Peak vibe going on.
Especially enjoyed listening to the seagulls & sea air thru the bedroom window as I fell asleep.
The motel is simple but does offer adequate working WIFI.
The reception is in a store shop where you can buy coffee, some snacks but it is mainly supplies for fishermen & Campers etc.
The staff mentioned they can arrange rental boats out but stated the guest mainly bring their own.
Plenty of space with free car parking.
Staff impressed me with their relaxed and flexible attitude. Despite check in closing at 8, I called them & explained that due to delayed flight & 5 hour drive that I wouldn’t make it until 1130pm. The guy kindly left my room unlocked for me to enter when I arrived & we did the check-in in the morning before I departed.
It is unlikely I will stay here again since I saw the nearby sights I had planned. However I would recommend those looking for a cheaper place to stay closer to Neah bay & also Ruby beach. Seems like a great fishing spot as well.

Hotel is located about 2km from IST airport. Its right at the end of the runway next to main highway. They do operate a shuttle of which is suppose to leave international arrivals terminal from airport at 30 past every hour but where to locate bus at this time is very difficult. There is no specific spot that it stops at and the mini bus looks much like all the others that drive thru airport.
I stayed at hotel 4 days coming from airport every day and never was able to find it.
Taxi's here can be the worst in the world and seem unimpressed when you want to go to this hotel, since its close- so they try and rip you off. They should charge no more than twenty lira but expect sixty and above and they can be very rude.
Recommend Turkish Uber called Bitaksi an app for smart phones that is very easy use. With that it is about 12-15L and you should look out for the registration seen on app, it is the same yellow taxi but they can't overcharge.
Getting to airport is fine since the hotel shuttle goes on the hour.
To get to old town or main touristic district, it can take up to 1.5 hours or 40 minutes depending on traffic.
Within area is a few Kebab restaurants in a town behind hotel or by the gas station, 50 metres from hotel.
What they call the business class room was in a long room with bed at the end. It was spacious.
Large king size bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows & each side are reading spot lights in addition to lamps. Euro two pin plugs are also located there and switches for all lights. No alarm clock.
The long rectangular room had a wooden desk, mirror and TV to one side. TV has about 30 channels that includes BBC, CCTV, RTL and National Geographic.
Two comfy armchairs, one with stool and coffee table is offered.
Large wardrobe cabinet with a nesexpreso coffee machine and 2 pods plus two bottle of water are included. A laptop size safe, robe and slippers inside. On wall is a trouser press combined with ironing board.
The bathroom offered a combination of a bath & shower in one.
Mini bottle amenities of body lotion, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner but no dental kit.
Overall room was clean but dull colours but with good working digital AC and was comfortable. It was just a bit noisy with constant plane noise thru the night. Once your asleep its ok and they do provide ear plugs. Plus black out drapes.
Hotel provides free wifi with room credentials not sure how many devices but worked with two for me.
Catering includes a lobby bar and separate restaurant. This is where breakfast is at and though they have a large selection both western and turkish, hot food is a but disappointing quality wise. However breads and cheeses are good.
Leisure facilities include a modern gym. They did have a swimming pool but its closed for the near future.
Business facilities include a business centre, plus in lobby is a large room full of computers and printer. The hotel has large conference facilities.
There is also a shop with souvenirs, magazines and snacks.
Staff are ok, check-in was fast and polite. Restaurant staff can be a bit lazy, of 4 days I stayed 2 I got offered coffee at breakfast, no self service facility and twice staff just hang out on phone at the entrance during non busy times.
Overall great for airport but those who are noise sensitive maybe consider elsewhere because you are literarily end of runway here with take-offs frequently thru the night.
However it was good value for money. There is no point to stay here if you plan to do tourism stuff in old town.

Hotel is located on Station 3 - the quieter end of White Beach.
The main clubs, bars, restaurant are all about 10-15 min walk at Station 2, though some are closer.
For transportation - I used hotels own My Boracay guide to get to hotel from Caticlan Airport & is six hundred peso's. Very well organised pick up from airport via private bus, shared boat, private bus & small walk. Staff will carry your bags. It is worth it as there are many fixers trying to rip you off at the boat terminal. They also offer a private boat but costs nearly two thousand peso. I would suggest only if you have a family or group.
The location is very chilled directly on the beach with complimentary chairs & towels. The odd local does come & try to sell you boat tour but it is done so politely & not pushy.
The sea water is colourful but don’t expect to see any fish since many boats off shore nearby.
In close proximity is some convenience stores & restaurants. I highly recommend Sunny Side up, 5 minutes walk away for a top breakfast.
My room was a superior deluxe located upstairs near reception. Very comfortable room & this is what you pay for since the hotel does not offer breakfast or a pool.
Large queen bed had nice soft mattress topper & soft pillows of which you can select different ones from a pillow menu.
Either side are personal reading lights & large lamps, though one was stained. Light controls include a dimmer function.
In addition to a phone there is an alarm clock with apple lightning cable charging capabilities but it was broken with wrong time displaying.
Facing the bed is a large TV with about 150 channels at least via cable with viewing for every nationality including Sudanese! However controls are confusing since you need two controls, with no instructions or explanation meaning a call to housekeeping to come and explain.
There is a large desk with mirror, kettle & mini bar items in fridge. They offer a nice chocolate bar but be wary its nearly 5 euros.
A wardrobe contains a laptop size safe, a robe & slippers but no flip flops in which most beach hotels in Asia of this standard offer.
The bathroom is modern & boutique with nice water flow tap & shower cubicle but does take a while to get warm.
Amenities are a mix of hotel brands bottles, dental kits but also Dove shower dispenser & Dutch brand Rituals hand soap.
The room is carpeted in which is initially odd for a beach room but it does collect sand well. AC is good but only issue I had is that it is not very 'beachy' because the window is frosted and tiny & therefore slightly claustrophobic.
Obviously you wanna be at the beach, but when it rains it can be a little depressing just being in the room due to lack of natural light.
The hotel offer WIFI & whilst slow at times it works fine for FB or emails.
There is a restaurant / bar in reception but the food is not that memorable compared to other restaurants & is kind of pricey. They don't include breakfast in any room rate & one should therefore consider the additional expense of your staying for a week or more, since most hotels on the island do offer breakfast.
The beach is nice & they do offer chairs & towels. But since the chairs are fixed curved upright, I found them a bit uncomfortable for more than an hour. Also the layout of the chairs means sun will not come over you, since you are under palm trees until about 12pm. However view is fantastic especially for sunset.
Staff are generally nice but not particularly special that others have described. If you have been around Asia & Philippines in particular, hotel staff are nice everywhere. I found the reception girls a little lazy and somewhat rude unenthusiastic when it came to tours, despite at the tour desk.
After researching many hotels in Boracay & deciding on this hotel - I was a little disappointed. I found the vibe a little pretentious (talking about fellow Europeans as opposed to staff).
If you are deciding and a room is important to you then it's a great place to stay but for the price you can get breakfast included & also a swimming pool included at the some great other hotels on this island. Perhaps I had too higher expectations reading other reviews but I would say it's feels a little over priced & underwhelmed.

Hotel is located around 10 minutes drive from airport. To the centre of Davao it is around 15 min by taxi.
The location is right next to a large mall and has a dedicated walkway tunnel to get to it. There are various fast food places & shops in the mall. However lacking any interesting stores or places to eat.
The room was superior on the highest floor.
It was a more spacious room that included a large king size bed that was quite firm.
Either side bed side tables and one local plug socket. Reading lamps above plus a telephone and an alarm clock. Facing the bed is a large TV in which has limited cable channels with many channels on system but unable to access since they were not tuned in or someone forgot to pay bill.
The room also offered a small sofa, large desk and chair, a mini bar fridge with items such as kit kats and drinks. Within the wardrobe is a laptop size safe and includes a robe and complimentary slippers.
The bathroom was spacious but the shower cubicle is quite filthy and has dispenser dove soap as well as small amenity items. They include two complimentary bottles of water.
I was presented with a room with no towels and had to call housekeeping with no apology offered.
Overall the room has Park Inn decor with the signature nice lighting but unfortunately there were noticeable scrapes on the walls, poor paint job in some areas especially the bathroom and in generally disappointing in comparison to other Park Inn I have stayed at.
It is ok value for money though and the room is functional for the business traveller but the room is not luxurious.
The hotels offers secure WIFI for free and generally worked ok.
There is a restaurant in the lobby but I didn't use. Breakfast though was provided and was quite nice.
A pool is offered and gym but again didn't use. Parking is available.
Staff as everywhere in the Philippines are very nice and welcoming and had no complaints about the service.

Belmont Hotel Manilla is located just across from Terminal 3, walking distance. Coming from Terminal 2 it is quite a hassle with a group hotel bus going every hour but it stops at every single hotel enroute & can take up to one hour & half from airport - since hotel is last stop. If coming from T2, use Grab App instead of taxi since costs about 250 peso, taxi is 800 peso.
Within the very safe area though is a large premium retail shopping mall with large casino & many restaurants and is less than 10 minute walk. Also McDonald's and a massage spa is less than 3 min walk away.
Room was quite nice of good size with a comfortable queen sized bed & plenty of comfortable pillows, slept very well.
Each side are handy international plug sockets above bedside tables and these each have mellow lamps.
Facing bed is a TV and plays full cable channels that includes CNN, Fox movies, Al Jazera, BBC, CCTV, TV5monde, Korean, German and Japanese in addition to local channels.
There is a small desk with a small mini bar fridge and a kettle - they have two complimentary bottles of water. There is also a stool and comfortable arm chair to watch TV or rest.
Open wardrobes are offered with a laptop size safe, complimentary slippers & robe.
AC is dial style and worked well, not to noisy.
The bathroom is small & poky and has a large window to bed room from the shower cubicle though a pull down blind is possible. However shower was powerful & hot.
Full hotel branded amenities of mini bottles of shower gel, body lotion and dental kits.
Overall room is functional and comfortable presented spotlessly clean.
The hotel offers free secure wifi for multiple devices. It's a bit slow & does drop frequently but it's ok for say emails.
Catering includes a cafe restaurant downstairs and a bar on the roof. The bar is next to a swimming pool & is quite relaxing in the evening for cocktails. Despite being outside smokers cannot smoke there due to new government regulations.
There is also a smallish gym with cardio equipment, sauna & business centre.
Within the building but outside is a Starbucks, another restaurant and a Lawson convenience store.
Staff are really friendly and upbeat. They always acknowledge you and ask how your doing - a big good morning was offered by all. Service is overall very good.
Overall would stay here again when in transiting thru Manila airport. The room was comfortable and the area has things to walk to and is very safe.

Hotel is located about 1 min walk from Oshiage station. This connects via the access express train from Narita and Haneda airports and takes less than one hour from each. Tokyo station is about 10 minutes away.
Tokyo Skytree and shopping mall is only a few minutes walk from hotel. There are many shops, restaurants and some bars in close vicinity. A large supermarket is on ground floor of hotel. Overall a great location.
The room on the top floor was of good size (for Japan), spotlessly clean, new with sophisticated decor with an air of premium ambiance.
Very comfortable double bed especially the pillows. Easy to access plug sockets and light controls with dimmer functions all located on a handy ledge built into frame. Convenient place for a phone.
Large TV faces bed and is multi-functional with even free VOD with both western & foreign movies, a nice extra to offer since most hotels in Japan charge.
A modern desk is offered with a helpful plug adaptor with cables for all phones. A air purifier machine is on top of desk along with telephone and personal mirror.
There is a small chair & coffee table plus cabinet with an empty fridge and some glasses.
Amenities offered include a small water in the shape of the Tokyo skytree & not to take away hotel branded pyjamas.
The room also has a window with a view that has a door can be slightly opened for fresh air.
There is also a laptop size safe, trouser press with iron and ironing board.
The bathroom is typical Japanese style with short deep bath and combined shower that worked well. Full set of amenities such as razor and toothbrush plus a shampoo shower gel by the brand - global environmental protection project, in which they also sell products at reception.
Overall a very comfortable & functional premium business hotel room in Tokyo.
The hotel offers free high speed wifi.
There is a restaurant near the lobby but did not use. Smoking room, touch screen computers, laundry and various vending machines are in the hotel on various floors.
Staff very friendly and efficient. However you cannot check in before 2pm for free. You have pay thousand yen per hour from 11am & staff would not budge on this. Appears to be the policy of the Richmond hotels. However check-in and check-out was efficient and polite.
I definitely would stay here again, loved the location and room was very comfortable.

Hotel is located less than 10 minutes drive from airport, just off the main airport road.
They do organise complimentary shuttle service, but you must book ahead via email at hotel website.
To get to airport, they have various times to get there & you book via reception.
There is nothing really to walk too outside of hotel. However it's great for needing to be close to airport and avoiding the nightmare of Jakarta traffic.
The deluxe room was slightly disappointing. It is very large but feels like a former office building made into a hotel.
Large but soulless empty space. One feels it needs a rug or something on the hard floors. Since it is quite cold looking and with dull lighting.
The queen bed was sufficiently comfortable though and each side there are bed side tables with lamps. However no nearby power sockets, only one against wall below TV.
The flat screen TV faces the bed and has 46 channels including HBO, BBC & other international channels.
A large glass desk is offered and is suitable for working from. Plus a small coffee table with wooden chairs, luggage rack & large wardrobe also in the room.
There is a very small safe, not suitable for laptops. A fridge also exists with some small mini bar items & above a basic kettle hot drinks facility.
The bathroom was also spacious but again a little characterless but is was clean.
A basic looking shower is offered with a small sample of hotel branded amenities.
One of the main gripes with the room, is the old AC unit. Possibly due to size of room, it doesn't get that cold despite cold setting of 21C and is quite noisy.
Overall though it is quite good value for an early morning flight but it's quite a bland un-functional bedroom that isn't that comfortable.
Facilities are certainly the highlight of this hotel.
WIFI worked well in all areas and is complimentary and secure to two devices per room.
Leisure facilities are fun, there is a large indoor pool area that has a hot very large steam room & sauna with large hot or ice cold dipping pools great after the sauna.
The area is clean and the changing rooms gives at least men - flip flops, shorts to use and towels with your own locker. It's great, open from 6am until 10pm.
There is also a spa with comprehensive menu of reasonably priced massage treatments. I tried the unique Tibetan Steam Bath and was impressed. Other leisure facilities include a karaoke lounge, a hair dresser and a convenience store right in the lobby. There is also a pool table in the bar.
Catering includes two 24hr restaurant - Thai & Indonesian cuisine with western meal items. Tried room service which was reasonably priced. Breakfast is complimentary but was quite limited in choices and with unusual items such as Cajun chicken.
There is also a cafe patisserie healthy tea place with cakes plus a pool bar. Quite good ambience.
Overall impressive facilities are offered here, they are clean but do look quite dated.
Staff are an asset to this hotel at the spa and bars. Really friendly, kind and upbeat. Check-in however was a bit inefficient, initially checked me in as someone else but check out was fine.
Overall not a great hotel for Jakarta but fine for airport. The facilities are fun and the strongest reason to stay at this hotel.

Dorsett is situated about 5-10 minute walk from the Olympic metro station in Mong Kok. One stop to Kowloon whereby you can connect to all areas of the city.
Located on quite a busy road of which there are many small bars, restaurants, pharmacies and convenience stores located nearby.
The hotel does have a free pick up and drop off service to some locations.
My room on 12th floor was quite compact but with a view.
Large mirrors and glass cabinets make up most off the decor. Not exactly cosy but functional.
The firm double bed was harder than expected but does offer flexible reading lights offered on both sides of frame.
There is one bedside table with a phone with one local plug socket.
Bed faces a small glass cabinet unit in which was ok for shirts but not for full length items such as suits or dresses- since it is short.
The unit offers a desk area but quite congested with many items on top of it, such as a kettle, an alarm clock with old iPhone socket charging capabilities & the mobile wifi charging station.
There is a refrigerator with some mini bar items. There is also a laptop size easy to use safe & facing the bed is the TV.
The TV is a bit grainy but offering 32 channels - these include a good balance of movie channels, international news networks such as BBC, Australian and RT plus many local channels.
The bathroom is in a glass unit within room, it is quite small & open though glass is frosted. Exceptionally powerful Shower offers both rain and hose versions.
Amenities offered are generous sized personal bottles of shower gel, shampoo & body lotion as well as dental kits. The room also has slippers, and in bedside drawers is a helpful plug adaptor and hair dryer.
Room has a decent dial AC unit that worked well and overall room was fine, not say premium but good value for money & for the most part clean.
Free open high speed wifi that worked well.
The unique feature of this hotel is the personal hot spot mobile wifi phone unit that can be used out and about with your phone/tablet able to connect to wifi without any restrictions. This helpful android based device also offers a a guide to local restaurants, entertainment and shopping with google maps integrated. A nice item but don't loose it.
The hotel does have a restaurant but didn't use. There is a small gym as well.
Staff offer a good service at this hotel. Good level of enthusiasm & quite efficient.
Overall a decent enough budget Hong Kong hotel that actually offers good value for Kowloon. However it is not that comfortable, cosy or premium but is functional for a short stay business traveller.
The mobile wifi unit is a really a great unique amenity and great to travel about the city with without racking up using your own data roaming charges.

The bastion Eindhoven is located about 2.5 miles from the Eindhoven city centre, about one hour walk away.
Brand new hotel in a pretty dull business park but close to the major highways.
There is nothing to walk to as the area is mostly residential, just a supermarket down the road. The hotel was visited in June 2017, and was brand new.
My room was on the first floor. I requested a higher floor due to building site below but told was only 1st floor operating as hotel was only 6 days old.
However the room was quite spacious & due to being new was very fresh and clean.
Two twin beds with small tables either side. Lighting good with lamps & flexi reading lights attached to bed frame. Plus a back wall light that creates a good mellow atmosphere. There is a old Dutch photo picture behind bed that looks a little haunting with people at the turn of the century.
TV faces bed, nice flat screen with various channels from region including BBC tv.
Small magimix expresso machine on slim desk in front. A relaxing arm chair with foot stall is to the side. Open wardrobes and small safe is offered but not sufficient for a small laptop.
The bathroom is quite spacious with a powerful shower. The hotel only offers a small tube of shampoo simple hotel brand. Towels are quite thin as well.
Overall room is comfortable and new but AC was not working despite digital display so felt warm throughout my stay in Summer, plus windows cannot be opened.
Being new the main door awkwardly screamed like a dying cat every time you close it creating quite an embarrsing noise heard loudly down corridor. It's a business hotel room but is not that functional, not enough desk space to work on a computer etc.
The brand new hotel is still being built, the car park has not even been properly finished.
Lots of building mess gets on your shoes and resulting in dirty public areas. Obviously this will be resolved but perhaps they opened too early.
Free working WIFI in which worked well.
There is a bar and restaurant. Breakfast is fourteen euros in which I felt was extortionate compared to other hotels I have stayed at on his trip so didn't try.
They also have a smoking lounge, a pool table, a sort of gym offering only two cardio machines.
A pricey vending machine for drinks is offered in lobby where a bottle of water costs nearly three euros.
Reception staff were mixed, male staff welcome was little unenthusiastic. When asked how far to walk to city, simply told I have no idea I don't live here. One expects staff to know basic knowledge of how far the centre of city is.
The housekeeping staff are also poorly skilled. Both days got woken up at 8am. First by staff simply walking in room (they don't have any Do not disturb signs on doors) then 2nd day by shouting down the corridor and hoovering. So one doesn't need an alarm clock!
Saying that female staff on check-out was concerned about how my stay was and seemed to care by noting these issues down.

The hotel is located in the village of Stuben, not far from the Aldberg tunnel & the S16 road.
A good stop when en route to Liechtenstein going west or Innsbruck going east. Liechtenstein is around 1 hour to the border. Innsbruck is about one hour and half away.
As with most of Austria, the area is very scenic with mountains and Ski passes all around. A cable car up the mountain is right next door.
The comfort room costing under fifty euros is exceptional value for money.
Large room with a very comfortable king size bed with various pillows. Good lightning either side and easy to access plug sockets. There is a side table with a phone and an oddly placed and unfortunately slightly grainy TV on it.
Some chairs and a coffee table with magazines in German plus a decent size wardrobe is offered with a small safe.
The toilet is in a separate room in corridor to bathroom.
Bathroom is very modern & spacious with a powerful rain shower.
Amenities include shampoo and shower gel plus a decent offering of towels.
The highlight of the room is a communal balcony with chairs that you can watch the busy road outside. You can also open the windows for fresh alpine air.
Very cosy and comfortable room with relaxing ambience though some light road noise outside.
There is free wifi that is secure and worked well.
Two restaurants exist - pizza one and the main restaurant. I only used for breakfast and the offering was generous healthy and fresh.
Parking is available for free.
Leisure facilities include a nice spa area with sauna, steam room and some cardio equipment. Clean and nicely set up but didn't use.
Staff are really nice & friendly. Appreciating them waiting for me to arrive at 11pm despite check-in closes at 10pm.
Very helpful with directions, plus restaurant staff were welcoming and enthusiastic.
Overall cannot fault this hotel, only the TV position could be improved but slept well with the fresh mountain air listening to the road outside.

Located about 5 minutes outside of the town of Golling, a very scenic town with a famous waterfall and valley.
From Salzburg or Berchtesgaden it's around 30 minute drive & under one hour to Hallstatt. Very quiet location, just off a misty mountain road near a picturesque church.
The room was quite spacious with decor of flowery style Austrian bright decor.
Two single beds pushed together to make a double, with quite a soft mattress.
Good lighting on bed side tables either side plus plug sockets. A small desk in the corner is offered. Spacious wardrobes.
There is also a flat screen but very small TV with various channels from around Europe.
Windows can be opened with bars on the outside.
Large bathroom is quite modern a with shower cubicle. Minimal amenities just dispenser soap is offered.
The hotel has fast free wifi throughout.
There is a restaurant but is not used for dinner, only breakfast.
Continental breakfast offering is fairly good, fresh and good selection.
There is a sauna and pool, though did not use either. Also a kids play area.
Car parking is available and free. There is also a drinks vending machine outside.
Staff are welcoming, helpful with informative guide to area.
Overall a nice little chalet style hotel with the location being the main reason to stay here. In terms of room comfort - bed is too soft for my liking but the room was cosy. Would stay here again.

Located about 7km up the less high mountain side from Innsbruck valley. Quiet and idyllic small Austrian village on side of hill near forest. Very nice spot.
The comfort room was very cosy. Decor had a boutique slightly scandinavian wooden finish with beige colours and scenic pictures.
The double bed had warm soft & comfortable bedding with plenty of decent light options on either side to create a nice ambiance. Suitable bed side tables with convienient plug sockets. Smallish TV with around 20 channels from the region but also BBC world service directly faces the bed.
The is a wooden desk and phone plus a luggage rack. Large wooden wardrobes include a laptop size safe but the room offers no refrigerator.
Outside is the highlight, a cosy chalet style private balcony that offers an idyllic mountain view. Seating and a table of which is great for a drink in the evening or smokers, not needing to leave room.
Weakness is no fan or AC and during my visit in the summer, room was quite warm. However slept well thanks to leaving the balcony door open all night allowing fresh alpine air and waking to the morning birds.
The bathroom is smallish and includes a good working shower plus amenities of small local brand of body lotion, shampoo and vanity kit. Plenty of towels. The room also includes a pair of slippers but no robe.
Overall a very nice room but does get warm during the day.
The hotel offers a traditional Austrian wooden bar and restaurant. Breakfast was a fairly good offering with a nice selection of continental breakfast offerings that including decent breads, cheese and meats.
WIFI is free and available throughout.
There is also a small kids area both inside and out. Parking was limited but still available for free.
Staff are really nice and welcoming. Helpful with information with a warm approach to guests is offered.
I would certainly return to this hotel if I return to Innsbruck. Very clean and comfortable, relaxing ambience from the boutique chalet style decor. Balcony and bed are the highlight. Only thing is how hot room gets in day time, they should at least provide fans.
Dorfstraße 56, 6072 Lans, AustriaSearch for the best prices with one of our trusted partners
Located on the Grossglockner high alpine road, about half way down the route just past the highest point.
The hotel is at an altitude of 2400 metres high that with outstanding views and various walking trails.
Perfect for those keen to do the Glossglockner road experience and as a result of booking, the hotel emails you a discount to enter the road, twenty five euro plus a free national park card that they register in your name. This gives guests access to free use of cable cars at various places along the route as well as other sights as far away as Kolnbrein Dam in this huge natural park.
The basic single room was clean with wooden cosy decor offering a mountain view.
Single but comfortable bed next to two power sockets but no bed side lights.
A small table and chair is offered plus a wardrobe. There is an old non flat screen TV with about 10, all local TV stations in German only.
The bathroom is of good size with a shower cubicle and some soap dispenser is offered.
One weakness is lighting, only two small lights of which are very dimly lit so can be a quite dark at night, couldn't read etc.
Overall the room for under sixty euros a night was good though since the location is perfect and room is quite cosy for a night. Slept beautifully thanks to the fresh cool alpine air coming thru the open window.
Hotel has wifi (limited to 500mb) and this worked fine on top floor. However I didn't really do much on my phone but left it on overnight and by morning had used the allocated 500mb already.
There is restaurant and this is where the complimentary continental breakfast is offered. It was fairly good and fresh. All decked out in cabin style and is a nice high mountain spot to dine.
I noticed a table football room and next door a relaxation reading room that was quiet with impressive mountain views.
Parking is also free with plenty of spaces.
Staff are nice and friendly, like majority of Austria. Helpful with road details and quite efficient. I didn't even know about the free National Park Card so was a pleasant surprise at breakfast to be handed this with my name already registered. If not staying at hotel, it costs to have this card.
Despite the simplicity of the room, the experience seemed good value for money. The location is the highlight and a unique experience up in the alpine clouds. Highly rate this place and hope to come back. The National Park Card was also a bonus.

The hotel is located right on Da Nang beach of which is right across the road. Situated in a quieter area area of the beach hotels.
From Da Nang airport it takes about 20 minutes by taxi costs around 10 dollars.
Within area are the odd fish restaurants but is not really near a major night life area. However across street on beach is a water sport facility such as hire of Jet Ski or Parasailing and costs about twenty five dollars for use.
Upgraded to large suite corner of building room on the 12th floor, after some having issues with the air conditioner system in another lower grade room.
The main room offers a large living room, bedroom and kitchen all in open plan design with a separate side room with bunk beds for say kids or other guests.
Living room area offers a table with seating for four people with modern kitchen equipment such with electric stoves, large fridge, microwave, kettle, sink and various tableware items suitable for self catering.
The bed is in the centre of the room and is very comfortable with easily accessible light dimmer switches, located on the side of bed. However there are no bedside tables and no plug sockets close by, so not so convenient for placing drinks or charging phones etc. In fact plug sockets are quite limited in this room as only by kitchen and close to window in living room area.
On one side of the bed are large mirrors and a small bench seating offering large drawers underneath. Each side if the bench are open wardrobes for each person, but they only provide 2 coat hangers each of which seemed limited.
At the end of the bed is the living room area and offers two arm chairs with a comfortable corner design sofa. These face the flat screen TV that offers 54 Channels of which 25 are international that include HBO, BBC, National Geographic etc.
A large bathroom exists with both shower and bath tub offering large bottle shower gel, body lotion and shampoo. As well as dental kits and other items. Water is not that hot but Da Nang is very hot.
There is a digital AC system and this had some initial problem due to some power outages before my stay but worked ok.
The room is finished in contemporary light coloured decor and is very clean and boutique in design.
The highlight of the room is the remote-controlled blinds that face the sea and the side view of beach road. I left these open at night and found it very relaxing to watch the city lights as well as waking up to sunrise with the ocean in front of you.
Overall a very nice room and suitable for those that like self-catering and enjoy a splendid view of the coast.
The hotel offers open WIFI in all areas including the pool located across the road and it is generally fast but does drop a bit in the room.
There is a cafe downstairs and where the breakfast buffet is served. There is quite a good selection of items with made to order eggs and this is included with room rates.
There is also a roof top bar but never visited it.
The pool, as mentioned, is across the road and is of nice size and design right on the beach with decent amount of sun loungers, there is also a convenient pool bar with reasonably and decent snack food and drink items.
On the 2nd floor is a small gym and yoga studio. Also this is where the SPA area is and it is expensive compared to street places but the quality of the massage was good.
The staff are meeting a five star standard of service at this hotel.
I had an issue with room being presented very hot and not cooling down that quickly so complaining to one of the front desk staff, he came and offered me a choice of 3 more premium upgraded different rooms and even gave me a fan to borrow for the night.
Issues do occur in hotels but this hotel did go out of their way to make the guest happy. I also found staff to be very friendly and helpful with advice for tourism places including in the cafe with general restaurant staff.
Overall as normal in Vietnam the service is very high standard and thus contributed as to why I gave this review a high rating.

The hotel is located just outside (2km) of Hoi An. It's a good 10-15min easy flat road cycle ride (they rent bikes for free) to the centre. They also offer a free shuttle at specific times to both the centre and the local beach where they have a restaurant.
Close-by hotel are a few coffeeshops, restaurants and bar.
The 7th floor boutique suite is quite a spacious room with a high roof ceiling & balcony.
The soft comfortable double bed is in the centre of the room and has bed side tables with warm mellow lamps either side with plug sockets. The bed faces a large double door leading to a balcony with a view of the city.
Behind the bed is a desk area, some seats and the mini bar with another window that faces the rice paddies on other side of hotel thru the exterior corridor.
To the right hand side of bed is a sofa, separate chair with a coffee table plus a large wardrobe containing an easy to use lap top size safe & soft towel robes. There is also a luggage rack with very comfortable flip flops to use but not take away. To the left of bed is a dressing up table with mirror
The TV is located on the side of bed, of which can be moved between bed or sofa, on offer is 40 channels. These include international satellite TV from NHK, FOX to Discovery etc.
The open plan bathroom offers two sinks with a separate room for toilet and the very comfortable bath and separate shower. A nice view of city and surrounding area is seen from the modern bath but the window is not tinted so be wary.
Amenities are all hotel branded mini bottles of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion plus dental and shaver kits.
The AC worked well and is digital.
Overall a very nice comfortable and cosy room.
The hotel offers open wifi and works fast for multiple devices.
Catering options include a restaurant on ground level and this is where breakfast and dinner is served. Breakfast has some good options and food tasted good especially local dish Cam Lau. Dinner I didn't have because they have a set menu but it's a minimum of two people to have it of which means single guests either pay double or go elsewhere like I did.
There is also a bar on the pool level & room service of which is mostly western comfort food.
The pool is really nice with sun loungers that has a very picturesque setting facing the rice paddies across the street. There is also a gym and on ground level is the spa.
The spa is reasonably priced with good skilled staff. I had a traditional Vietnamese and it was incredible.
There is also a clothes shop, an area for kids and some computers to use.
Hotel offers free bicycle hire of which is a great way to explore this historic city.
Overall very nice offering of facilities.
Staff are very friendly and enthusiastic in all area and offers a great service with a smile.
I loved the Lasenta and if I'm back in Hoi An again, I will surely stay there again. Reasonably priced and it's actually nice to be slightly out of the town centre in a quieter area since it is a very busy in city centre with tourists.
